Grey's Anatomy
So I borrowed Grey's Anatomy Seasons One and Two from my father-in-law. Thank goodness he has season Three cuz I am coming to a close on Season Two and I am going to be needing to wrap my life in yet another wonderful season. I love this show! Just thought I would throw out my opinion in case someone cared...which you probably don't but...meh, I thought I would promote it anyway!

Mother's Day 2009
Well this was my second year of being a mother and celebrating Mother's Day. I don't know why, but it is such an exciting day for me....it's like having Christmas two days a year! Whoo Hoo! So we went to church, and we got a really cool book of Gospel Art and some chocolates.....mmmm...chocolates! The girls made me little flowers and cards during primary. They were really cute. After church we came home and discovered that dinner at Michael's parents was "right now" instead of in the evening, so we hurried and got ready and headed over there. We opened Mother's Day gifts over there. We chipped in with Michael's brother, Curtis and his wife (my cousin) Christina and got Michael's mom a digital picture frame. Those things are pretty cool. I honestly just wanted a nap for Mother's Day, but alas, Michael bought me a few things. So I have been saying..."I just want to work out with Jillian Michaels for two weeks at the Biggest Loser ranch, just two weeks." Well he got me a couple of her workout videos, and I did one yesterday, and I am pretty sure that I would NEVER last the full two weeks. I would cry like a little girl! It wiped me OUT! But it was good and I am sure if I do it enough I will look like her in no time....yeah right...in my freaking dreams!

Then I opened my next gift. And I was so excited I was speechless! It was a 120 GB Ipod. I have been wanting a new one...and especially that one, for a really long time. But they are pretty expensive. What can I say...I am spoiled rotten by my handsome wonderful husband!

I love being a mother, it is the hardest most wonderful thing that I have ever experienced. I am so glad that I have the opportunity to be a mom to these four beautiful girls. They are amazing and I am so glad Heavenly Father blessed me to have them as my little girls. I know I didn't give birth to 3 out of the 4, but I love them just the same and know I was meant to be in their lives. Thank you, Michael, for giving me the special and wonderful gift of motherhood!

Life is Good
I love this time of year...the trees are full of blossoms, the grass is turning green, and I get the opportunity to remember the sacrifice made by our Savior. Easter this year was lonely without our Katie. She is in Wisconsin for a week. The house is so quiet...TOO quiet without her. I miss her like crazy....we all do. Last year Michael and I were in Wisconsin with Katie for Easter, so this year was the first year I have gotten to spend Easter with Lauren and Madie. It was a lot of fun. We died Easter Eggs on Saturday night. Natalie spilled one of the cups full of green dye. I was surprised it actually came out quite easily. PAAS...I owe you! Sunday we enjoyed a beautiful day at church. I was filled with the spirit as I listened to the talks and thought of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to have such a strong testimony of the church. Sunday afternoon we went and had dinner at my dad and step-mom's house. IT WAS AWESOME. I love food....but that is another blog all in itself!
Natalie is crawling and into everything! But I am loving it. She is growing so fast and learning so much. I am enjoying her more as she is getting bigger and her little personality is shining through. She's amazing, I can't believe how much I love her. People have often asked me...."Do you love Natalie more than the other girls"....and my answer is "ABSOLUTELY NOT"!!!! Natalie has made me appreciate the other girls more. I can now visualize what it must have been like to hold each one when they were babies, what it must have felt like when they said their first word, took their first step. Lauren, Madalyn, and Kaitlyn are absolutely amazing little girls. I sometimes feel sorry for myself because I was not able to be a part of their lives from the beginning, but I just think how grateful I am to be able to be a part of their lives NOW and in the future. I still have a lot of good times and firsts to look forward to.
Tax Season will be over on Wednesday, Kaitlyn will be home on Friday, and we are taking a family trip to Utah for the weekend. This is going to be a fun week! I can't wait to see my friends in Utah and for them to meet my sweet family. We also get to spend some time with Leslie, Paulo, and Emma.....pretty much the coolest family I know. I love them! We got to have lunch with them this last Friday and I had a blast, I miss them! When are you guys moving to Twin Falls? Paulo wants to change his degree and become an accountant so that him and Michael can work together? That would be awesome...I know he wants to pursue his Dentistry dream though (....Dr. De Souza gets your teeth clean...apply jingle music here).
Here are a few pics of Easter. It was a blast. I am grateful for Spring and New Beginnings, for my family and Savior, for life in general.....Life is good!

Natalie = Stewie
I swear Natalie is plotting to kill me through lack of sleep. Last night I told Michael that I think she is like Stewie from The Family Guy. She has woken up screaming nearly every hour for the last two nights...killing me through exhaustion....GENIUS! Oh the joys of motherhood. I, like Lois, just love the baby no matter what her intentions of driving me mad are....unlike Lois, I am not blind to the plotting that is going on in her little mind. If any of you see me around town in 3 day old pajamas with mascara down to my chin...just know, my little Stewie has been hard at work! If only her teeth would come through...if only she would EAT more of her cream of wheat instead of spitting it out, if only she would stay awake all day so she WANTS to sleep when it is night time, if only...if only! Any advice for my teething woes, please, feel free to let me know, I would surely appreciate it!

Latest Updates
So...a few things to highlight.
1). I am again "starting" my diet....how many times do we need to roller coaster up and down before I actually commit? That is a good question....I think we will never know the answer...or lose count, one or the other. But so far so good and I am feeling great. I want to feel good when summer gets here, especially since it is my 10 year reunion and everyone is basically judging everyone else, right?! So I'm working on getting in shape!
2). Natalie started rolling over and she thinks she is the coolest baby ever! You should see her roll and roll and roll.... She just squeals and smiles. She's pretty proud of herself, and so am I.
3). I have tendinitis in my left wrist, which makes it way fun to type, change diapers, wash dishes, bath the baby....I have to wear this Horrible Brace! I believe Michael has trained Katie to give it to me because whenever she sees me not wearing it she goes and finds it and says...."here mom". So she is his little spy I think! Blast him! Ok Ok, he is only trying to do what is best for me, I'm a whiny baby about it!
4). My cousin is on American Idol and has made it to the top 36. She performs next week. Everyone...vote for Megan!
5). I am ever devoted to watching the Bachelor and can't believe that he got rid of Jill! Molly's family is weird and he hasn't even met Melissa's family....but man, maybe not meeting the family is the way to go cuz....yipes! Why do I get so emotionally involved in these types of shows....seriously, it is a sick and wrong addiction....yet, I LOVE IT and I CAN'T HELP MYSELF!
6). For Valentine's Day Michael got me some stress relief lotion, red fur handcuffs, a box of chocolates, and the court transcript from Wisconsin regarding our custody battle we had for Katie. A couple weeks ago I said, "All I want for Valentine's Day is the court transcripts." I was half serious, half not....I mean I wanted them, bad, but never thought I would get them for reals! I screamed with excitement, you would have thought he had bought me a cruise to Hawaii.....I like the little things, what can I say! I on the other hand took a totally different approach and got him some really "ROMANTIC" things including a human size box with a big bow and tag that I could pop out of...when I bought it...the creepy guy behind the counter made a point to let me know that "clothing was optional". Thanks buddy, I think I have it figured out! Koo Koo!
7). I have come to the realization that I am still totally and completely madly in love with Michael. I was married to my first husband for 19 months. Michael and I will beat out that time at the end of this month, what a difference this marriage has been and I am ever so grateful that I had the opportunity to find true happiness. Thank you, Michael for being my dream come true! ( I know you all get barfed out and I am always mushy about Michael...but dang it...I just can't help myself!)
8). Katie keeps walking around the house announcing proudly that she has an attitude. I wonder if she really even knows what that means...whatever the case it is hilarious!
9). Lauren finally got her own room and thus far it is making her and Madie's relationship a lot better.....for awhile there I wondered which one was going to survive and live to tell the tale! Oh the joys of sibling-hood....I don't even think that's a word!
10). And lastly... I have finally realized and accepted that I will never EVER EVER have every batch of laundry done. It will never end and I am learning to deal and be OK with that!

Random thoughts and more.....
OK...One of my greatest Pet Peeves...sorry to those of you who actually do this....babies at the movie.....seriously folks, if your baby is going to be crying and screaming please allow those of us who actually took the initiative to get a baby sitter for the evening to ENJOY our evening. Last night Michael and I went on a date.....and we went to the movie "Taken". It is the first movie trailer in a long time that I have seen and thought....wow, I really want to see that (It was really good by the way). As we were waiting in line at the concession stand I saw that a couple was walking in the theater with a baby....my thought....don't be going to "Taken"...don't be going to "Taken". Well of course they walk into our movie and there ya go. Bugged!
So yesterday I spent the day hanging out with my sister-in-law, which was really fun! She wanted to get to know me a little better and asked "what did you do before you were married and had kids..what were you in to?" I sat there....my mind went blank....and I thought....I AM BORING....or atleast I was....but to be honest my lifestyle hasn't changed all that much. I was never into crafts, sports, scrapbooking, travelling. Basically now I have children to watch cartoons with me instead of me watching them alone and I have a baby which gives me an excuse to carry around my own baby blanket. Now it isn't some weird 27 year old walking around like Linus from The Peanuts Gang with her "Tickle Tickle". Basically having children and being married to Michael has just made my life better, and has made my life...make sense. Now I know why I held on to my baby blanket...Natalie LOVES IT....why I LOVE cartoons, because I don't mind watching them with the kids!
So this is me. A cartoon loving freak who would rather watch SpongeBob over the news any day! A girl who loves her baby blanket....I'm glad I got that cleared and out in the open...yikes. I love reality T.V. shows, I guess cuz it is nice to have the drama be someone else's life. I do love to read when I get the time. I like to exercise too, when I get the time. I love Junior Mints, and most anything chocolate, I hate donuts, not a HUGE fan of icecream but I do LOVE cheesecake. I will never be into scrapbooking because I lack the creative gene, plus I am too cheap. I love Karaoke...hence I am also a huge American Idol fan. I love to laugh until my sides hurt and I can't breathe. I am a hopeless romantic. I'm responsible. I love to meet new people. I am outgoing. I love to talk.
Basically I haven't changed too much in my life...do you people think I am boring?

Madie and Katie and I went Roller skating at SkateLand. Madie Roller Bladed for the first time and did awesome, and Katie did really good for her first time ever on skates. She thought we were "ice-skating".
